Command
Line
Several command line options exist to control how Digital Photo Slide Show
operates when it is executed. These controls can be especially helpful when
setting up a CD-ROM that will automatically run Digital Photo Slide Show. You
can also create short cuts on your desktop that start specific slide shows using
these command line parameters. You should use the Autorun
Producer utility to create your AUTORUN.INF file with the command line parameters
you desire. The command line options are as follows:
- /PL - Starts the slide show program in play mode.
- /PA - Starts the slide show program paused.
- /RO - Starts the slide show program in the root directory of the current
hard disk.
- /HC - All controls are hidden with the slide show program is started.
- /SC - All controls are displayed with the slide show program is started.
- /SB - Starts the slide show program with a bordered window.
- /HB- Starts the slide show program without a bordered window.
- /TG - Stretches the graphic images to fit the screen size.
- /NTG - Graphic images are displayed in the default resolution
- /HT - Shrinks images that are larger than the current screen resolution
to fit the screen
- /NHT - Turns Shrink image command off
- /T - Transitions between photograph are displayed.
- /NST - Transitions between photograph are NOT displayed.
- /SM - Displays a menu of folders from which to choose when the slide show
starts
- /0S - Zero second delay between images
- /1S - One second delay between images
- /2S - Two second delay between images
- /3S - Three second delay between images
- /4S - Four second delay between images
- /5S - Five second delay between images
- /6S - Six second delay between images
- /7S - Seven second delay between images
- /8S - Eight second delay between images
- /9S - Nine second delay between images
- /10S - Ten second delay between images
- "D:\My Pictures\Christmas 2000\" - The full path of the start
up directory may be specified in the format displayed to the left. Note the
quotation marks around the path.
The autorun.inf file can be used on your CD-ROM to automatically start the
slide show whenever the CD-ROM is inserted into the CD-ROM drive. It might look
something like the following:
[autorun]
open=DSSAR.EXE "\My Pictures\Christmas 2000\" /PL /RO /HC
ICON=DSSAR.ICO
Slide Show also uses DSS.INI to store configuration options for your slide
show. This file is created automatically by Autorun Producer. Command line paramaters
are not necessary to configure your Autorun slide show.
